Lauren X. Topelsohn, Of Counsel

 
 

Lauren X. Topelsohn specializes in civil litigation and commercial transactions, and represents individuals as well as private corporations. Her trial and appellate experience includes cases ranging from general commercial disputes, including shareholders' claims, partnership issues, breach of contract, and fraud, to matters involving licensing agreements, sales and distribution contracts, liability claims, publishing law (trademark issues, defamation claims and publicity rights), and employment. Ms. Topelsohn also arbitrates and mediates securities-based claims (churning, unauthorized/unsuitable trading, violation of NASD and NYSE rules) brought by investors against securities firms and individual registered representatives. As a transactional attorney, Ms. Topelsohn represents clients in matters relating to mergers and acquisitions, general corporate issues, employment, shareholder, joint venture partnership agreements, and various other commercial matters.
