Steve Rother
leads the firm's healthcare group, serving the unique needs
of owners and operators of skilled nursing facilities and assisted
living residences. Prior to joining the firm, he served for
four years as general counsel to a national healthcare provider
with 120 facilities ranging from assisted living residences
to rehabilitation hospitals. Mr. Rother brings more than 35
years of related professional experience to his healthcare practice.
That experience includes the development and syndication of
senior housing, as well as the conventional and tax-exempt financing
of healthcare facilities. He has served as president of several
national mortgage banking firms which specialize in senior housing
and healthcare finance. Mr. Rother's development/real estate
finance experience includes his service as General Counsel to
the Newark Redevelopment and Housing Authority and his current
service as Chairman of the Essex County Improvement Authority.
